Clark's Nebula Award-winning novel combines steampunk Cairo, Egyptian mythology and a confident, glamorous detective heroine.
Published in 2021, A Master of Djinn won the Nebula Award for Best Novel. Clark had previously written novellas set in the same alternate Cairo, including A Dead Djinn in Cairo; this was his first full-length novel in the series.
